Mental Health and Wellbeing
The journey through life can be challenging. Happiness and sadness are highly individualistic emotions. It is not uncommon for these experiences to be isolating and leading to a feeling of being overwhelmed.
When negative feelings and thoughts cause a spiralling of emotional turmoil, this is when asking for help is the first step into a brighter future.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (2020-2022), 42.9 % of Australians aged 16-85 have experienced a mental disorder or psychological distress in their lifetime. Anxiety has been reported to be the most common condition, more prevalent in females than males. (AIHW, 2024)
